# Plan payments and receipts

> How plan payments work — PhonePe checkout, UPI, card and net banking, references, receipts — and what to do if something looks wrong.

Every plan payment — a new store, a renewal or an upgrade — goes through **PhonePe's secure checkout**. You pay by **UPI**, **debit or credit card**, or **net banking**. The platform never sees your card or bank details.

## What you pay

| Purchase | Amount |
| --- | --- |
| New store | The plan's yearly price. |
| Renewal | The same plan's yearly price. |
| Upgrade | Only the difference for the days left — see [Upgrade your plan](https://www.nijeesweb.com/docs/ecommerce/account-billing/upgrade-your-plan). |

The amount is shown on the button before you pay: **Pay ₹… & activate**, **Renew — ₹…**, **Upgrade to … — ₹…**.

## References and receipts

Every payment has a reference beginning with **SUB**, shown on the success screen (*Reference: SUB…*). PhonePe also sends a confirmation, and your bank or UPI app shows the transaction. Quote the SUB reference whenever you contact us about a payment.

## Nothing is charged automatically

There are no saved cards and no auto-debits. You pay only when you choose to set up, renew or upgrade.

## If something looks wrong

- **Money left your account but no store appeared** — wait up to an hour; the store is created as soon as the bank confirms. Then [contact support](https://www.nijeesweb.com/contact?topic=billing).
- **Charged twice** — [contact support](https://www.nijeesweb.com/contact?topic=billing) with both references; the duplicate is refunded.
- **A payment failed** — nothing was taken, or your bank reverses it within a few working days.
