# Glossary

| Term | Meaning |

| **Admin panel** | Your store's back office at `yourdomain/admin/dashboard`, where you manage everything. |
| **Admins only** | A payment method status: shown at checkout only to signed-in admins, for testing. |
| **Attribute** | One option a product comes in — *M*, *Blue*. |
| **Attribute category** | A kind of option — *Size*, *Colour* — holding attributes. |
| **AWB** | Air waybill — the courier's tracking number for a parcel. |
| **Banner set** | A group of banners shown together as a slider (a *banner category*). |
| **Catalogue mode** | A store that shows products without prices and collects enquiries instead of orders. |
| **Challan** | A delivery challan — a document that travels with goods, with its own number series. |
| **COD** | Cash on delivery — the customer pays the courier. |
| **Custom Meta Tags** | Raw HTML tags added to a page's head for search engines. |
| **Element** | A building block in a page-builder column — Heading, Products, Banners and so on. |
| **Environment** | Test / sandbox or Live — which of a gateway's systems your keys belong to. |
| **Gateway** | A payment service that takes card, UPI and net-banking payments — Razorpay, PhonePe… |
| **GSTIN** | Your 15-character GST registration number. |
| **Guest checkout** | Buying without creating an account. |
| **HSN code** | The tax classification code of a product, printed on GST invoices. |
| **IGST / CGST / SGST** | Integrated GST (sale to another state) / Central and State GST (sale within your state). |
| **Markup** | An amount or percentage added to Shiprocket's courier rate. |
| **MRP** | Maximum retail price — the full price before any discount. |
| **Pincode list** | The places you deliver to (without Shiprocket). |
| **Product card** | How one product looks in a grid or carousel. |
| **Reverse pickup** | A courier collecting a returned item from the customer. |
| **RMA** | Return number — the reference of a cancellation, return or exchange request (*RET-…*). |
| **Row / column** | The page builder's layout: rows stacked down the page, columns side by side in a row. |
| **SKU** | Stock-keeping unit — the unique code of each variant, created automatically. |
| **Slug** | The part of an address that names a page or product — `linen-kurta`. |
| **Store account** | Your account at www.nijees.in, where you buy and renew plans. |
| **Store credit** | A balance a customer can spend on their next order, used for refunds. |
| **Store ID** | Your store's internal name, chosen at set-up. |
| **UTR** | Unique transaction reference — the bank's reference for a UPI or bank transfer. |
| **Variant** | One version of a product a customer can buy — a size, a colour — with its own price and stock. |
| **Volumetric weight** | Length × width × height ÷ about 5,000 — what couriers bill when it is above the actual weight. |
| **Webhook** | A message a payment gateway sends your store to confirm a payment. |
| **Weight slab** | A weight range with a fixed delivery charge. |
