# Order and return statuses

## Order statuses

| Status | Means | Set by |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Pending** | Waiting — for an online payment to complete, a bank transfer to arrive, or your confirmation of a COD order. | The store, when the order is placed (online payments, bank transfer); or you. |
| **Confirmed** | Paid, or cash on delivery accepted — ready to pack. Stock has been taken. | The store when payment is confirmed or a COD order is placed; or you. |
| **Shipped** | With the courier. | You; or Shiprocket when pickup is scheduled or tracking shows it in transit. |
| **Out for delivery** | With the delivery agent. | You; or Shiprocket tracking. |
| **Delivered** | Received. Return and exchange windows start. | You; or Shiprocket tracking. |
| **Cancelled** | Not going ahead. | You on the order screen (status only), an approved cancellation request (with refund and restock per policy), or Shiprocket. |

The orders list's filter also offers **Processing** and **Returned**.

## Payment statuses

| Status | Means |
| --- | --- |
| **Pending** | No confirmed online payment. Normal for cash on delivery and bank transfer. |
| **Paid** | The gateway confirmed the payment, or store credit covered the order. |

## Return, cancellation and exchange statuses

| Status | Means |
| --- | --- |
| **Requested** | The customer asked; waiting for you (unless auto-approved). |
| **Approved** | Accepted. For a cancellation, the order is cancelled. |
| **Rejected** | Refused — the customer sees your reason. |
| **Pickup scheduled** | A reverse pickup is booked. |
| **Picked up** | The courier collected the item. |
| **Received** | The item is back with you. |
| **QC passed** / **QC failed** | Your inspection result. |
| **Completed** | Done — refund, credit or replacement settled. |
| **Cancelled** | The request was withdrawn. |

Request numbers start with **RET** (return), **EXC** (exchange) or **CAN** (cancellation).
