# Store set-up form errors

> Every message on the Set up your store page — store ID, domain, www alias, admin password and store limits — and how to fix each.

These messages appear on the **Set up your store** page, under the field they concern. Nothing is charged until the form is accepted.

## "The store ID format is invalid."

The store ID may contain only **letters, numbers, dots, dashes and underscores** — no spaces, no other symbols. `asha-fashion` works; `asha fashion` and `asha&co` do not.

## "The store ID has already been taken."

Another store uses that ID. Make it more specific — add your city or a word: `asha-fashion-pune`.

## "The domain has already been taken."

A store on the platform already uses that address.

- If it is **your** store, don't set it up again — renew or upgrade it from your [dashboard](https://www.nijees.in/account/dashboard).
- If it is a domain you just bought and you did not set up a store with it before, [contact support](https://www.nijeesweb.com/contact?topic=domain).

## "The www. alias for this domain is already taken."

Every store gets a `www.` version of its domain. That version is used by another store. [Contact support](https://www.nijeesweb.com/contact?topic=domain).

## Typing the domain

Type the **bare** domain: `ashafashion.in` — not `https://ashafashion.in`, not `www.ashafashion.in`, and no `/` at the end. The form does not correct this for you, and a store set up with the wrong form of its address will not open. ## "The password must be at least 6 characters."

The admin password needs at least 6 characters.

## "The email must be a valid email address."

Check the admin email for typos.

## "You've reached your limit of … stores"

Your account's store allowance is used up, and the plan buttons show **Store limit reached**. [Contact support](https://www.nijeesweb.com/contact?topic=plans) to raise it.
