## Shipping is ₹0 on some orders

- **Weight slabs:** the cart's weight is outside every active slab — heavier than the last, or in a gap. Add a slab that covers it.
- **Free shipping** applies: the order is above your *Free shipping above* amount in the free-shipping area (0 means always free).
- **Settings → Shipping → Charge for delivery** is off.

## Shipping is much higher than expected

- A variant has no **weight**, so the default parcel weight is used — or the weight was entered in kilograms instead of **grams** (*1* instead of *1000*).
- **Shiprocket:** the courier bills on **volumetric weight** — a big, light parcel costs more than its weight suggests. Check real dimensions in the **Rate tester**.
- Your **Markup** adds a flat amount or percentage.

## "Shiprocket is on, but it is not pricing your checkout yet"

The Shiprocket screen explains why:

- **Settings → Shipping → Shipping Values** is set to **My own weight slabs** — switch it off (*Quoted by Shiprocket*).
- **Shipping: Charge for delivery** is off.
- The store is a catalogue store, which has no shipping.
- *Shiprocket API credentials are incomplete.* — fill in the API email and password.

## "Shiprocket login failed: …"

The **API email** or **API password** is wrong — or it is your dashboard login instead of an **API user**. Create an API user in Shiprocket under **Settings → API → Configure** and use its details.

## Shipment errors on the order screen

| Message | Fix |
| --- | --- |
| *Shiprocket pickup location is not configured.* | Choose your **Pickup location nickname** on the Shiprocket screen. |
| *Order has no delivery address.* / *Delivery address has no pincode.* | The order's address is incomplete — you cannot edit it; ask the customer and recreate the order. |
| *Assign an AWB before scheduling pickup.* | Select **Assign AWB** first. |
| *Shipment has no Shiprocket shipment id yet.* | Select **Create shipment** first. |
| *Could not reach Shiprocket.* | Shiprocket is not responding — try again in a few minutes. |
| A message from Shiprocket | Shiprocket's own reason: a low wallet balance, an unserviceable pincode, a weight limit. Fix it in Shiprocket, then try again or **Recreate shipment**. |

## Tracking is not updating

Tracking updates when you select **Refresh tracking** on the order. Refresh orders in transit daily.

## Customers outside the courier network are refused

That is **Refuse orders to pincodes no courier serves** working as intended. Switch it off to accept the order anyway and ship another way.
