# Renew a website

> Plans never renew automatically. When a website's year ends, renew it from your dashboard to bring it back online with everything intact.

NijeesWeb plans **do not renew automatically** — nothing is ever charged without you choosing to pay.

## Reminders

In the last 30 days of a plan, your website's admin **Dashboard** shows *Your plan ends in … days — renew soon to avoid any downtime*, and your account dashboard shows the **days left** on the website's card.

## When the year ends

The website goes **offline**: visitors see a short page explaining that the website's subscription has expired. **Your pages, images, settings and enquiries are all kept**, exactly as you left them.

## Renew

1. Sign in to your [account dashboard](https://www.nijeesweb.com/account/dashboard).
2. On the expired website's card, select **Renew — ₹…**. The amount is the plan's yearly price, plus each [add-on](https://www.nijeesweb.com/docs/website/account-billing/add-ons) set to renew with it, plus 18% GST; the line under the button lists what it covers.
3. Pay on PhonePe's checkout — see [Pay for your plan](https://www.nijeesweb.com/docs/website/getting-started/pay-for-your-plan).

The website is back online straight away, for another full year. Add-ons you had switched to **Don't renew** end with the old year; the others carry on.

> [!NOTE]
> At the moment a website can be renewed once its plan has ended — the **Renew** button appears on the card when the plan expires. Plan your renewal for the day the year ends to keep the time offline to a minimum.

## Renew and upgrade together?

Renewing keeps the same plan. To move to a higher plan, renew first, then use **Upgrade plan** — or [contact us](https://www.nijeesweb.com/contact?topic=billing) and we'll help.
