WhatsApp chat button

Add a floating WhatsApp button so visitors can message you in one tap, with a pre-typed message.

In India, a WhatsApp button often brings more enquiries than any form. Visitors tap it and a chat with your business opens, on their phone or in WhatsApp Web.

Turn it on#

Open Settings › General Settings and find Floating actions.
Switch on WhatsApp Chat — Show WhatsApp icon.
WhatsApp Number — your number with the country code, such as 919876543210 for an Indian number. Anything that is not a digit is stripped on save, so +91 98765-43210 also works.
Prefilled Message (optional) — text already typed into the chat when the visitor taps the icon, such as Hi! I'd like to know more about your services.
Save.

The button appears on every page of your site.

Use a WhatsApp Business number#

Use a number registered with WhatsApp Business (free). You get a business profile, opening hours, quick replies and an away message for out-of-hours chats.

Not opening the right chat?#

Check the number includes the country code (91 for India) and no leading 0.
