When a website expires or is switched off
What visitors see when a plan ends or a website is disabled, what happens to your content, and how to get back online.
A website can be offline for one of a few reasons. Visitors see a short, clear page explaining which.
| What visitors see | Why | How to fix it |
|---|---|---|
| This website's subscription has expired | The plan's year has ended. | Renew from your account dashboard. |
| This website has been switched off | An administrator deactivated it — for example after a reported problem. | Contact support. |
| This website isn't linked to an account yet | The website exists but has no subscription attached. | Sign in to your account to claim it and choose a plan, or contact support. |
| There's no website at this address | The domain points to NijeesWeb, but no website uses that exact domain. | Check the domain on your set-up — see Domain & SSL. |
Your content is safe#
When a website expires, nothing is deleted — pages, images, blog posts, settings and form enquiries stay exactly as they were. Renew and the website returns as it was.
While a website is offline, its admin panel at yourdomain/admin is closed too. Renewing happens in your NijeesWeb account — the offline page links to its sign-in — and the admin panel reopens the moment the payment completes.
