Knowing exactly what your store emails — and what it does not — saves confusion with customers.

What it does not email yet#

How not to miss an order#

  • Check the Dashboard and Orders a few times a day. Filter by Status: Confirmed for orders waiting to ship, and Pending for unpaid ones.
  • Your payment gateway emails you for every successful online payment — Razorpay, PhonePe and the others do this from their own dashboards.
  • With Shiprocket automation on, shipments are created for you, and Shiprocket's own notifications keep you and the customer informed as the parcel moves.

Keeping customers informed#

Customers see their order on the confirmation page and in My Orders (guests through /guest/access), with the status and tracking you add. For a personal touch, message them on WhatsApp when the order ships — with the tracking link from the order screen.
