Domain and SSL problems
Your domain shows the wrong site or nothing, "Not secure" or certificate errors, www not working — causes and fixes.
The domain shows a parking page, an old site, or nothing#
Your domain does not point to the store servers yet.
- Check the records at your registrar: an
Arecord for@and forwww, both with the value13.204.177.255. See Connect your domain. - Delete any other
A,AAAAorCNAMErecords for@orwww— old records win surprisingly often. - If your domain uses another provider's nameservers (Cloudflare, your old host), the records must be added there, not at the registrar.
- Wait: DNS changes can take a few hours, sometimes up to 48. Check progress on dnschecker.org for
www.yourdomain.
"Not secure", or "Your connection is not private"#
The SSL certificate is missing or does not cover the address.
- The certificate is requested automatically, every minute, during the first two hours after your store is created. If your domain was not pointing to the store servers in that time, the certificate could not be issued. Once your DNS is correct, contact support and we will issue it.
- On Cloudflare, set both records to DNS only (grey cloud) until the certificate is issued.
The domain works but www. does not (or the other way round)#
Your store's main address is the www. one; the bare domain forwards to it. Both need an A record to 13.204.177.255. Add the missing one.
"We couldn't find this store"#
Your domain points to the store servers, but no store uses that exact address. Check the domain you entered when you set up — a typo, or www. or https:// typed into the domain box. Contact support to correct it.
A free nijees.in address does not open#
Every nijees.in address points to the store servers automatically. Make sure you are typing it exactly as set up (www.yourname.nijees.in). If it still fails a few minutes after you paid, contact support.
Email stopped working after I changed DNS#
You changed or deleted the MX records, or switched nameservers. Restore your email provider's MX records at your registrar. The store only needs the two A records.
