Store admin sign-in problems
Can't sign in to yourdomain/login — wrong email or password, reset emails, one-time codes, 429 and 419 errors, reCAPTCHA lock-outs and expired stores.
These are problems signing in to your store's admin panel at yourdomain/login.
"These credentials do not match our records."#
- Use the admin email you entered when you set up the store — it may differ from your store account's email.
- Passwords are case-sensitive; check Caps Lock.
- Still failing? Reset the password, or use a one-time code (below).
Reset the admin password#
- On the sign-in page, select Forgot password?
- Enter the admin email and select Email me a reset link.
- Open the email and choose a new password.
The email doesn't arrive? Check spam and promotions folders and wait ten minutes. Make sure you typed the admin email exactly.
Sign in with a one-time code#
Use a one-time code emails a 4-digit code, valid for 5 minutes.

After a code sign-in you land on the store's home page; go to /admin/dashboard.
"429 — Too Many Requests"#
Too many attempts from your connection within a minute (20 for sign-in, 5 for one-time codes and reset emails). Wait a minute.
"419 — Page Expired"#
The page sat open until its security token expired. Reload and sign in again. If a save fails with this while editing, copy any text you were writing before reloading.
Locked out by reCAPTCHA#
If you switched on reCAPTCHA for Sign in and the keys are wrong, sign-in fails. Use a one-time code if that form is still allowed, or contact support — we can switch the check off for you.
"Your subscription has expired"#
The store's plan has ended and the admin panel is closed with it. Renew from your store account — see Renew a store.
Nobody can get in#
If the only admin has left and nobody knows the email's password, contact support from the store account's email address. Then keep at least two admins — see Admin users.
